We moved into our new house knowing the floors upstairs were really noisy. We thought we could fix them by screwing down the boards when we replaced the carpet but it made absolutely no difference at all. After a few months it was unbearable as the worst floors were in our two young children’s rooms. We took the new carpets back up and had the floors completely replaced with new chipboard, glued and screwed and again it didn’t work. The floors were just as bad as before if not worse and we paid thousands of pounds for the work. As a last resort (we were prepared to sell the house and move at this point) we contacted Wes in the hope he could help, we looked at the videos on the website and they appeared to be the same noises we were experiencing. Wes came to have a look and answered all our questions. He was confident he could make the floors much quieter, we were understandably worried that we would spend another sum of money and the fix would not work again. However, we didn’t need to worry at all. The new floors Wes laid worked brilliantly. So much so we had him come back and do the remaining upstairs floors a few months later. We couldn’t be happier with the work he has done, it was worth every penny and has made us able to love the house again!
