Our floorboards of our 1980s house were so noisy. If anyone got up for the toilet during the night I woke up, when our baby grandson slept over we had a fan on outside his room and a white noise machine in his room to try to dull out the noise from the boards. When in the kitchen the noise above was horrendous.
