We have a 1982 house with the all-to-common creaky chipboard floors – so we contacted Wes. He responded promptly and arranged a visit where he assured us he could solve the problem. We agree a price and a date to replace the whole upper floor and he turns up and – somewhat to my surprise – solves the problem just as he’d promised! Wes is a very pleasant, up-front guy. He makes very clear what is and isn’t included so there are no nasty surprises. He works very hard for his money but also clearly has an in-depth understanding of the multitude of factors that lead to those squeaks and he’s learned exactly what to do about them. After he’d gone and the new floor had settled a bit we did find one squeak and so contacted him. As always, he responded immediately and – despite our being 140 miles from his base – within a week he’d turned up and sorted it. In short – Wes is knowlegeable, thoughtful, efficient, hard-working and has an uncommonly good grasp of the need for effective communication with customers. What’s not to like? I’m not easy to please but would nonetheless unhestitatingly recommend him.
