We moved into a 30yr old house last year and soon realised the upstairs floor was in need of some serious looking at. Very creaky, some rooms had bouncy flooring with obvious dips in them, and it was all causing ceiling cracks downstairs. We were beginning to fear there might be structural issues so after a google search found Wes’s site and the videos he showed could have been our house! i spoke with him, and he came round to assess the situation and it was immediately obvious he knew what he was talking about. The quote was pretty much what we expected, so booked the job in. Everything progressed to plan and after four days hard graft Wes and Chris had completely replaced the upstairs flooring. Dips had been levelled, ceilings addressed, noggins added and extremely tough plywood had replaced the crappy old chipboard. No more squeaks, creaks, cracks and clunks. The bounce has gone and walking no longer requires secret dance steps to avoid the problem areas. The floor feels solid and reassuring…a far cry from just a few weeks ago. We are very pleased with the results. The floor is better than we hoped it would be. Would recommend these guys to anyone with annoying squeaky floors. Worth every penny!
