Silence at last. The first floor in our 1980s built house had all sorts of squeaks and cracks when anyone walked on them, together with noisy stairs. It was driving us mad, and I tried all sorts of solutions suggested on google and youtube – but none worked.
I found Squeakfix online and thought I’d make contact. Wes travelled down to carry out an assessment, and we were impressed by his honesty, integrity and knowledge. He assured us he could improve things significantly, but didn’t make outlandish claims or overpromise, which is refreshing.
The next day we received a quote from Lyndsay, which seemed very fair for the work involved in fixing 4 bedrooms, a landing and stairs, and decided to go ahead.
Wes and Liam carried out the work last week. It was very noisy at times, but they kept disruption to a minimum. They were punctual, respectful and hard working, de-briefing us at the end of each day. A regular supply of tea and coffee kept them happy!
The result – complete silence – even the previously noisy heating pipes are now much quieter as a result of Wes securing them as part of the work.
All in all a great result that exceeded our expectations.
