Would like too say a huge Thank You too Wes and his team, from enquiry to final invoice they did an amazing job, I cannot believe we are officially noise free in our bedroom now, I honestly didn’t think we would ever get it, they did a great job, left house tidy, were a pleasure to have in the house and delivered as they promised a noise free floor, cannot recommend this company enough – Thank You again.

Huge thanks to Wes and Liam for sorting out our squeaky floors upstairs including stairs and landing after failed attempts to fix them ourselves and various advice that just a few extra screws were needed – how naive we were! The work undertaken involved so much more than we thought and it is clear to see why Squeakfix are the leading specialists in this type of work.

Admittedly I was slightly sceptical of the results that could be achieved along with the cost involved but felt more reassured following the initial assessment with Wes. I then eagerly awaited the quote to be emailed from Lyndsay, Project Manager which was promptly sent through. Once received I felt I needed a lie down as the cost was more than anticipated having no prior knowledge or experience of this work and remember thinking that this could be better spent on a holiday or new sofa which I could actually see the benefit of. Glad to say that we got there in the end thanks to the efforts of Lyndsay, Project Manager who was very friendly, approachable and worked hard even when she was unwell to promptly provide various options on the work to help make our decision. Glad to say that we feel the money has been well spent as I no longer try and dodge the squeaky stairs or cringe and feel that I should offer hard hats for any visitors sitting downstairs who think the ceiling is about to cave in! I am learning to love the house again.

Wes advised that the work would be very invasive and noisy which it certainly was and I would advise that if you have young children, elderly in the house or work nights to go out for the day. We had no problems leaving Wes and Liam to get on with the job, they are very self sufficient and don’t ask for anything although any refreshments are warmly appreciated. They have a great work ethic being reliable and punctual arriving before 8.00am every morning and working flat out each day ensuring that any mess was cleared and giving an update on progress. and then once the work was completed coming back the following day to do a final check ensuring that we were happy with the work carried out.

Thanks again and we will recommend you to anyone we hear mention squeaky floors and will be in touch if we ever decide to list it and do it all over again!
