I recently started going mad as it got to the point where you could hear anyone walking anywhere in our house. It was driving me insane, the noise would wake me up at night/early in the morning. I could be sat in the living room and know exactly where my husband was upstairs, it was chronic. Since having the floors replaced I have complete peace and quiet. You cannot hear people walking around the house at all now and my husband can now sneak up on me. No more being woken up when others are going to bed/getting up early.
