If you are reading these reviews because you are serious about a terrible flooring issue in your home then don’t delay in booking Squeak Fix ASAP. We moved into our 14 year old, three storey home six years ago. Soon after this we discovered many issues indicating that this home had been built to a poor standard; something we now hear is not uncommon in modern builds. We have dispaired at the state of the original chipboard flooring and over the past five years it has become progressively worse. The squeaking, popping and banging is something very difficult to describe to people who don’t live with the same affliction. It is no underestimation that the issues we’ve suffered actually started to take a mental toll on our lives. After many hours spent searching for a solution and understanding what we could achieve ourselves we finally accepted that there was no easy way to solve this issue. We even considered selling our home but we love where we live even though it was driving us mad! Eventually we found Squeak Fix on line. After a few months of consideration we contacted the team and Wes came round to give us a quote. Wes just understood the issue straight away and we never looked back……. From start to finish, Lyndsay, Wes and Chris have been great to work with. “Highly professional, not pushy, great communicators, hard and clean workers and results driven” summarises our experience of the Squeak Fix team. The fact that we now have one floor done and one not makes an interesting case study and reminds us just how bad the floors were. We have now booked for Wes and Chris to return in the New Year and fix the first floor. Our only regret is not contacting Wes and the team earlier.
