We moved into a our new home (built in 1999) in September of 2016. Straight away from day one we were annoyed to find that virtually every floor upstairs creaked to the point it sounded like an accordion playing as you walked around. This was most noticeable late at night or when sneaking around at 6am getting ready for work. We employed a number of joiners to try and sort the problem out but all were temporary and all seemed to ‘move the problem elsewhere’. By December we’d had enough and found Wes (and Steve) via the internet. Wes came out before Xmas, had a look, took measurements and told us that if he did the work, he’d reduce all noise by at least 95%! The quote was not as expensive as we thought it would be, but neither was it cheap. We employed Wes and Steve and they started work the first week of January. Admittedly, its noisy work, and I was expecting dirt, but both lads kept dust and debris to an absolute minimum. A total of four days spent replacing the floors in three bedrooms and the landing. On the Friday evening after they left, we instantly noticed a ‘stillness’ upstairs! By bedtime, not one noticeable creak. The floors felt solid and gave new life to the carpets! Its been three weeks now, and Wes’s promise of curing the noise by 95% was an understatement. I’d say its currently riding at 98-99%.

The difference is life changing. That may sound exaggerated, but the noise beforehand was just depressing. Just going to the toilet at midnight was like playing ‘Name That Tune’. Now we have silence. I fully recommend this company. Thank you Wes and Steve
